Strella Changelog – May 8, 2026

This week we shipped time-on-task charts in Analysis, multiple per-project share links, a combined session export, and pinnable favorite projects on the dashboard.

Time-on-task charts in Analysis

Task questions in Analysis now show a box plot of participant completion times — median, quartile spread, and outliers — with moderator time automatically excluded from the calculation. An Outliers toggle lets you show or hide extreme values to focus on the core distribution or flag participants who ran long.

Multiple share links per project

Projects can now have multiple share links, each with its own redirect URL for when participants finish, get screened out, or hit a full quota. Useful for routing different audiences to different destinations, or for running the same study with multiple entry points without duplicating the project.

Combined session export

The Sessions page now exports all session data — demographics, transcripts, and survey responses — into a single Excel workbook instead of requiring multiple separate downloads.

Favorite projects on the dashboard

Pin any project to the top of your dashboard by marking it as a favorite, and filter the project list to show only your favorites. Favorites are saved per user, so each team member keeps their own pinned set independently.

Small fixes

  • Background blur: participants can now blur their background during calls, with a slider to control the intensity
  • Speaker selection: the pre-call setup screen and in-call settings now include an audio output picker on Chrome and Firefox
  • Accessibility in calls and onboarding: screen reader labels, keyboard navigation, and focus management improved across call setup, onboarding, and in-call flows
  • Connection quality indicator: the network instability banner has been replaced with a small floating chip that only appears when the connection is genuinely poor
  • Share pages on mobile: the layout on shared session and highlight reel pages no longer breaks on phones and tablets
